You may call the Fairmont anytime before April 2, 2003 to make hotel reservations. Be sure to mention that you are with the Innovative Users Group to get the conference rate of:
single -- $149.00 per night plus 10% tax
double -- $149.00 per night plus 10% tax
All reservations must be guaranteed by deposit equivalent to one night's room and tax or by credit card. This is refundable up to 72 hours prior to arrival. If you do not cancel 72 hours prior to your arrival date, you will be charged one night's rate plus tax. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out time is 1:00 p.m.
Please note that rooms at the IUG conference hotels traditionally sell out 4-8 weeks earlier than the deadline and reservations are then accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's published rates (considerably higher than the IUG rate).
Fairmont Hotel Parking:
Parking is available at the hotel for in-house guests only. They recommend checking out www.sjdowntownparking.com for a listing of all the lots in the area. There are a number near the hotel that are free on weekends and in the evening (after 6pm).

Special note about Hotel Rooms for Monday night
We generally reserve a smaller number of rooms for the last day of the conference (Monday night) because many of you depart on Monday afternoon. There ARE rooms available at the conference rate for Monday April 28. If you find that you are not given the conference rate for that night, or if you have any other problems with the hotel reservation process, please contact our Conference Planner directly and she will sort things out for you:
