Hi Everyone,

IUG 2017 will be in National Harbor, Maryland, April 3-5, 2017. The Call for Proposals is now open!

Can you think of a better way to share the knowledge you've gained by working with Innovative products than to pay it forward by proposing a program, poster, forum, or Birds of a Feather session for the conference? Given the variety of Innovative products in our family and the extensive knowledge of our user group members, I encourage you to share your expertise.
• Describe a unique project that your library has undertaken in a full length presentation
• Contribute bite sized pearls of wisdom in a lightening round presentation (10 minutes)
• Volunteer to moderate a forum discussion about some aspect of an Innovative product
• Suggest a Birds of a Feather session for an informal discussion with other users of specific Innovative products or functions
• Submit a Poster that succinctly explains an idea or solution graphically
Topics can be specific to a single Innovative product, or the intersection of Innovative products with others, or concepts which are interesting, practical, and universal to libraries in general.

If you have an idea but need a presentation partner let me know and we will try to match you with someone.

The deadline for proposals is Friday, October 28th, 2016 for programs, posters and forums (Birds of a feather can be proposed right up until the conference).

Our program is dependent upon our volunteer presenters. Help us to put on a quality conference!

How to Submit a Proposal

If you already have a MyIUG ID:
• Log in.
• Hover over Conferences in the top menu bar. Under IUG 2017 Conference, click on My Presentations.
• If you have presented at previous IUG conferences, those sessions will be listed here under Previous Conference Presentations. If there is something there you'd like to propose again, you can click the Copy icon and that information will be copied to the current conference where you can edit it for any updates.
• To submit a new proposal, click the Create Presentation icon.
• Complete instructions for submitting a proposal can be found under the link Tutorial for Presenters right under My Presentations.
If you don't yet have a MyIUG ID:
• Go to http://www.innovativeusers.org
• Hover over Login/Register and click on Register
• Create a username and password
• Fill in the rest of your information. You will need your institution's IUG member number to complete the registration.
• Once done, you will be logged in to the members-only section of the website.
