Hi All,

We have many  Epson TM -T88V receipt printers which  print non-template date due slips and template hold slips with no problem  from Sierra 3.1.
On two PC's however the printers print garbage instead of hold slips. The login parameters all look the same and we are stumped.

Does anyone have any advice?

Hi Bruce! We haven't had this exact problem, but what we've done to troubleshoot in the past is:

1. Try a Sierra login (one used on a PC that works) on the PC with the 'faulty printout' and see if it works

2. Take a printer that is printing well and try it on the PC where the printer doesn't print well (to rule out a faulty printer)

3. Try a different printer driver -- there are several for the Epson TM -T88V receipt printers depending on the PC's operating system

4. Try printing a windows printer test page to see if that comes out OK

Are the PC's operating systems the same as on those where the printing works well?

You may have already taken all these steps, but that is the path we would follow to start with!  You mention the login parameters are all the same.  Is the printer 'format' set to print Graphic and/or Text (narrow) in Sierra?  Ours are set to Text (narrow) and it works fine.

Did you by chance upgrade the PC to windows 10 enterprise. I have on several PCs and have developed the same issue on those PCs. all we get when attempting to print the hold slip is a single dash. receipts print fine, windows test page prints fine, its just hold slips that do not. have had ticket open with III for months, no response. tried all newest drivers for III apd 507 and apd 509, no help.
