We already use Bookings for staff and book club sets but now we are thinking about adding our meeting & study rooms for patrons to book online.

Is there a way to limit what booking options the patrons will see if we enable the web form?

We are an Encore site - is the only option to use the WebPac forms?

I'd love to hear what you've done at your libraries!

Hi Melissa,

We too use Bookings for staff and wanted to use the public form for students to reserve our study rooms. We worked extensively with the webpac form but the functionality is just not there. All other products we investigated for comparison (LibCal, You Can Book Me, etc) had a clickable calendar (as you'd expect) where students choose a date then book the room. The webpac form, by contrast, is just a calendar for show--you can't click a day to initiate a booking. It's very cumbersome and not at all user friendly. We really, really wanted to make it work but in the end just could not. We ended up subscribing to LibCal--which was easy to configure, user-friendly, and looks nice. We're set to make it live at the end of the month.
