IUG 2017 is almost here but it is not too late to have your Birds of a Feather (BoF) session included in the IUG 2017 Conference App.

Birds of a Feather sessions are a way to carve out a time to get together with like-minded people and draw on the expertise of your colleagues from around the world. BoF sessions submitted by March 27, 2017 will be included in the 2017 IUG event app.

As always, Birds of a Feather sessions can be organized at any point, including at the conference—be sure to check the BoF board often!

Sessions submitted thus far include:
• Regional Groups: NWIUG & MAIUG BoFs
• Polaris Genealogy Collection IUG 2017
• Communico - A Suite of Integrated Enterprise Applications
• Let's Connect : Sierra Multi-branch Public Libraries with Floating Collections
• Local/Reference Database Users
• Maintaining Sierra Passwords and Privacy
• Starting down the Knowledge Base Path
• Commiseration for the Lost Systems Person Whose Very Soul is Plagued with Self-doubt, Uncertainty, and Feelings of Emptiness.
• INN-Reach
• WILIUG BoF Lunch
• SCIUG Steering Committee for 2017 SCIUG Conference
• ArticleReach
• FALSC and MOBIUS Meeting

To submit a BoF session:
1. Sign into the IUG Website at http://www.innovativeusers.org/
2. Under the Conferences tab, go to "My Presentations"
3. Click on "Create Presentation"
4. Under Presentation Type, choose the option for "Birds of a Feather" and give your BoF session a descriptive title that will be as
clear and succinct as possible.
5. Click on "Save & Begin Editing Presentation"
6. In the row of icons along the top of the next page, click "Description" and the Edit icon to add additional information regarding
your BoF session. Click the "Save" icon to save your changes.
7. Also in the row of icons along the top, click "BoF Details" then click the Edit icon next to "Birds of a Feather Details."
8. Choose either an Onsite of Offsite BoF session:
a. For Onsite sessions, choose the expected size of your group and a reserved time that is still available. Reserved times will be removed as BoF sessions are added and approved, so submit your BoF sessions as early as possible.
b. For Offsite sessions, indicate your BoF session date and time along with your location and RSVP information. The more information you can provide, the better.
9. Click the "Save" icon next to BoF Details to save your changes.
10. When finished, click "Submit for Review". We will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your submission.

We look forward to seeing all of you at IUG 2017 at the National Harbor!
