I'm back at my home library after a great IUG 2018, and I'm having trouble finding the presentation files. At one of the sessions I attended, someone mentioned they are usually posted here on the IUG site, but I can't find them. Some of the files are available through the app, but getting them from the app to my computer is a pain. I was also hoping to look at presentations from past IUGs.

Can anyone point me in right direction? Thanks.

Wow, 10 days between creating the post and it finally showing up on the forum. I can see why this forum isn't too popular.

I was prowling around (IUG website, csdirect, supportal) with a variation on this same question:

Where are links to the IUG presentations given by III staff? There used to be a page (I thought it was on csdirect?) where III staff used to add links to their presentations, but I can not seem to locate it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks

Mia

The III presentations archive is on CSDirect at https://csdirect.iii.com/documentation/presentation_archive.php

but it only goes through 2015. Not sure where 2016-present are (2018 probably haven't been posted yet, IUG hasn't even posted the member presentations yet).

It turns out that IUG 2017 presentations are on the Supportal: https://iii.rightanswers.com/portal/ss/?querytext=IUG+2017&tabid=2#t=kbResults

According to some discussion in the Sierra listserv, the IUG 2018 presentations should be posted on this IUG site sometime "soon".

Ahhhhhh. Thanks.

So .... here's an Attribute that can help: "Innovative User group conferences" .

I'm finding it hard to pin down a straightforward and reproducible sequence, but at some point or another, finding and clicking on that attribute will display another attribute for "IUG year" -- which is a filter for years 2012 on. see "IUG supportal" attachment.

So, if you don't see the IUG years on the left, but instead see "Innovative User group conferences" again, click on it (again). see "Attribute" attachment.

:p

The Innovative presentations 2016-Present will be available in the Supportal. Just search by "IUG XXXX" with the year you are interested in to see relevant results.

The Innovative slides from 2018 should be on the Supportal soon (I heard all presentations were due to be turned in to a central person as of a few days ago).

The customer presentations are usually located in the Conference section of the IUG website, but that area is not functioning at present. IIRC, the plan is to upload presentations to a section of the forums (the IUG forums) with a standardized template for data about the presentation. The IUG Steering Committee knows the materials are a hot commodity and haven't forgotten about making them available!

Possibly awaiting some kind of moderation? Phil Shirley is the forum expert and I'm sure he'll reply to this thread eventually!
