Codes of Conducts Consulted or Being Reviewed

Backgroud to the IUG Statement of Conduct

In March 2015, in response to a request for a code of conduct and after researching and seeking legal counsel, IUG released a Conference Statement of Conduct for IUG 2015. After the launch of the statement, it was further modified to include a general contact instruction.

During the IUG 2015 Conference in Minneapolis, the Steering Committee received feedback that the statement should go further to better meet the needs of our members.

In response to that feedback, IUG formed a task force of 5 members led by Jen Ferriss with the objectives of gathering data about our community's needs in terms of defining conference conduct and reporting to the IUG Steering Committee on what may be missing from our current Statement of Conduct.
