[IUG] Recent MARC format changes and Millennium

I have a question about the recent OCLC-MARC format changes from OCLC Technical Bulletin 257 and their impact on Millennium. How are other libraries approaching these changes in terms of system tables? Will asking Innovative to update the MARC validity tables help with these changes? What else should be done?
