Hi Alison

We had the same problem with Sept 2007 example set. The helpdesk sent me two updated files earlier this week to fix the form display in IE. The forms display fine now. I'll send the files to your personal email address.

It can also be fixed by adding a width of less than 95% in the stylesheet entry: .advSrchtool form table {align:left; width:94%;} (% solution thanks to Duncan). The instructions text wrapped in the form to about 3 - 5 lines with this method but we did not seek a solution as the new forms fixed the problem.

Subject: [IUG] Release 2007 example set

Hello everyone,

I'm playing around with the 2007 example set on our staging server (we're
still on 2006 1.3 but I want to get the WebOPAC set before we upgrade). All appears well display-wise except the out-of-the-box forms acquire_web.html and pverify_web.html in Internet Explorer 7 (Firefox is of course displaying fine). On those two forms, the top logo seems to be pushing the content way down the page. I confirmed that I loaded styles.css, iestyles.css and prostyles.css onto staging. Before I start spending a lot of time trying to figure this out (everything takes me a while, since I'm only vaguely familiar with HTML, etc.), is there some obvious thing that everyone does to these forms so they display normally in IE?

Thanks in advance,

Alison
