[IUG] R2007 workstation requirements

FYI -

We upgraded to R2007 1.1 last week and I installed the latest client (JRE
1.6.0_02)
on my anemic PC (XP, Pentium 2.8Ghz,  512 Mb RAM!).

Yesterday afternoon, I was running the following:

  iReport
  Chrome browser (3 tabs)
  Outlook email
  IE browser (1 tab)
  Firefox browser (2 tabs)
  Circulation client
  Admin client

I was working on iReports modifying print templates, importing them via the
Admin client, and testing them with the Circ client.

While things were sluggish at times, everything continued to work.
So you can get by with a fairly basic workstation in R2007
("get by" being the operative term).
