[IUG] Rel.2007 option to open urls in new window - but not from checkins

We have set our DISPLAY_856=z|t to get 856 links opening in new windows.
This works as expected for 856 links in bibliographic records and in
item records, but we have found that it does not work for 856 links in
checkin records.
 
This can be observed in the following example showing a record for
Google Scholar in our catalogue with an 856 in the bib record, and also
the same link repeated in an attached checkin record and in an attached
item record.

I have raised a call with Helpdesk who have forwarded the call to
Software Engineering for further investigation.
 
I can also confirm Mark Strangs observation ( Re: [IUG] Rel.2007 option
to open urls in new window? or is this for the next release- Fri, 8 Aug
2008) that you should use
'z|t' for this wwwoption in order to get just the |z field as your link
message from an Item record link. If you use  'z|true' you will get both
the |u and the |z fields from the item record 856 field muddled together
in the link message which is very messy.
