Re: [IUG] Sites with Drupal

We're using Drupal for our website and Plone for our intranet.
If I could go back in time I'd build everything in Drupal, though
now I'm convinced that our next site will be built on a social networking platform.
I've never used Joomla.

We've implemented an intranet site for our large consortium using
Drupal, version 6. We've been very happy with its features and
stability. You can see the front end to this site at
http://intranet.cwmars.org but you'll need credentials to view the
content. We're planning on converting our public site to this platform
before too long.

If you'd like to explore the content (since you are an existing III
customer) please contact me directly for a temporary username and
password.

Please,

Has any library used an open source tool to build and manage its site?
What tool is the best: Drupal, Joomla, or Plone?

Thanks,
