At least on 2006, the overrides are still only available in text based.

It's not "lost" to Millennium, it just hasn't made it there yet.

As for your second question, we have a copy of every email notice sent

in an email account that we set up just for that reason. This option is

available in your system options for circulation in text based (#76).
Add your saved email address where it says "e-mail CC address".
