Hello,
I contacted III and talked with a person that specializes in the Acq Module. Fortunately, what I had been told by III during an earlier phone call was not true. The payments in the FAR do not "fall off". It turned out to be a simple misunderstanding. Someone on our staff had been entering payments in the system between the end of our FY and when I did the Fiscal Close.
Thank you,

Hello,
I wanted to see if anyone else had come across this problem. This might sound a bit odd and I think I am going to have trouble explaining it. Anyway, we have full use of Mil Acq and create order records for all items that come in. Obviously, when we enter invoices a payment is created within that items order record and it is also recorded in the Fund Activity Maintenance Report.
Well, the other day I happened to be going through one of our funds (this one happens to have only one order record attached and has multiple payments because we use it on a monthly basis), 18 items came up in the Fund Activity report for this year. However, when I went to the order record, it showed that there were 25 payments for this year. So, in essence, there were 7 payments missing from the Fund Activity report. The subtotal was also incorrect on the FAR.
I called III and they told me that sometimes the payments "fall off" of the FAR. But in that case, I asked them why the subtotal (in the Fund Activity Report) wasn't continually increasing when additional payments were added (even if they "fall off").
Has anyone had payments in the FAR come up missing? I appreciate any enlightenment on this subject. I'm still waiting on a call back from III.
Thank you,

We just went live with the My Lists feature. Our testers were confused
by the checkboxes, so I re-enabled the icon_bookcart and deleted the
checkbox from the briefcit.html display. Now you just have to add items
to the book cart before you have the option to save them to My Lists.
Everything seems to be working well, and I haven't had any issues come
up since we went live, but it's only been about a day...
We went live on Millennium on July 9th. We had a My Lists feature on our
old system and didn't think too many people were using it, but when we
went live without that feature on Millennium we got a ton of complaints
from our customers. I guess it was more popular than we realized!
We're on release 2007. Here's a link to our catalog if you want to take
a look:
http://millennium.newport.lib.ca.us/
Incidentally, we also just changed all the buttons (#1 customer
complaint since going live - buttons too hard to read).

Much as I'd like to have My Lists moved to Live, it stays on Staging for
a while. It doesn't seem quite ready for prime time, IMHO.
1. The "check box" is not considered obvious enough as a method of
selecting, especially when it's right next to a "Request" button. Our
staff would prefer My Lists worked with the save_record.gif in
ICON_BOOKCART. Since you have to turn the ICON_BOOKCART off for My
Lists to work, it's not nearly as usable, in our view.
2. Bug: If I disable the ICON_BOOKCART and save something to a list, as
long as I'm still logged into my patron record, the ICON_BOOKCART
graphic (in our case, save_record.gif) appears instead on subsequent
searches and I can't save anything else to the list until I log out.
Then the check box is back on the next search. Go figure.
Has anyone found a way around either of these?

I am pleased to report that Innovative's Software Engineering found the
cause of the problem and was able to fix it. Apparently it was a
problem with permissions on some background files.
Thanks to everyone who suggested possible solutions on this list and of
course to Innovative's Help Desk and Software Engineering folks!
