No problem. The new mat type is not in the character based OPAC so
something is not right and I have a call in to Innovative about it.
Thanks for the suggestions!

My bad. This isn't part of ASAA. On our system, at least, we make
changes to the MAT TYPE fixed length field, restart the web server or
login to a new character-based system and the new MAT TYPE is in the
limit options -- nothing special required.

If that's the way it's supposed to work, why the service commitment? If
that's not the way it's supposed to work, then our system must be
magical... :-)

Just to be certain, though, on your srchhelp_X.html and srchmod.html
pages are you using the <!--{mattype}--> token, or, like a lot of
libraries, are you manually maintaining the material type limiter form
element? We maintain it manually, but if I replace it with the token,
the new MAT TYPE is in the list. Have you checked the character-based
OPAC to see if the limits are there?

Sorry for any misunderstanding,
David
