It sounds like the Limit Network Access table has been set for these
stations via IP address to automatically login to a Millennium session.
Check in the text-based version under A -> A -> L -> (initials/password
combo here) -> N -> 05 (Millennium - your number may be different) ->
then locate the IP address of the machine(s) involved. I would remove
the login info so your method will work below.

Subject: [IUG] Editing Millennium desktop icon

We've created a new "no due-date slip printing" options group for
circulation staff so I am trying to edit my Milcirc desktop icon by
adding the new login name and password. I am changing
C:\Millennium\iii.runner.exe to C:\Millennium\iii.runner.exe
username=xxxxxx password=xxxxxx. This works fine on all PCs in
technical services and reference but willl not work on PCs in
circulation. No matter what username and password I enter the desktop
icon still launches the old MilCirc version not the one with the new
options group applied. I tried reloading the Millennium environment but
it made no difference. In fact the shortcut that uses
C:\Millennium\iii.runner.exe without a username and password embedded in
the file name still launches MilCirc rather than prompting a user to
login. What is it that is not allowing me to change the shortcut to
launch the version of MilCirc that I want? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
