The University of Arizona Libraries (Main, Sceicne and Fine Arts) have recently started our paging service, "Express Retrievals". There are a couple of questions for other Libraries that use this III/Millennium feature.

1. Does your Library ues the "Preferred Searches" function, along with Paging? What problems, if any, have you had with patrons who have requested items paged from a preferred search, but the items are still in processing? Have you had to change anything for either process?

2. What do you do for new books that have been requested for paging, but are still in processing or have not yet arrived from your vendor (if you have processing done at an outside vendor)?

Please e-mail me with your responses. Thank you for your help with making the University of Arizona's Express Retrieval service a bigger success and a better service!
