As I recall, the red does actually indicate errors in coding, as
determined by some table within Millennium. The table originates from
III, and local libraries can modify it to their needs.

690 is a local field, and 350 is obsolete, so I am not at all surprised
that your table considers these to be invalid. If you wish to use those
fields and want them validated, you may want to modify the validation
table. I believe the relevant page is #101852 in the INNOPAC manual.
If you don't want to have your MARC records validated at all, see
#105692 on how to turn it off. You say this happened all of a sudden.
Was this perhaps turned on recently?
