Hi, Moira,
We have been sending Edifact transmissions to Midwesttapes for over a year
now with no difficulty.
Have you been talking to anyone at Midwest to troubleshoot your difficulty?
Is your Innovative vendor record configured properly?
Innovative vendor record:
. VCODE3 should be set to "d" for EDIFACT
. Your account number should be in "ACCTNUM" variable field and with
Midwest is normally your Zipcode
. Midwest further specified to include the vendor san number in a
"Note3" variable field which is formatted:
o $VENDSAN=1234567 where the numeric value "1234567" would indicate
Midwest's Vendor San number
If you need to talk to anyone at Midwest, I would suggest talking to Randy
Selhorst who is the ILS Coordinator (1-800-875-2785).
If this data is correct and you have been talking to Midwest and still are
having difficulty I would suggest contacting Innovative Customer Support.
I hope this is helpful,
--Robert

Good Afternoon,
I was wondering if anyone has had success ordering from the Acquisitions
Module to Midwesttapes via FTP (Edifact). We have been able to download
records into Milacq from Midwest but are having no luck sending the order
from Acquisitions.
Some of the errors:
Log In failed
Connect but can't open the Remote in or out file.
If there is anyone out there that has any hints or suggestions I would
really appreciate it!!
Thank You in Advance,
Moira S. Flynn
