I have a related follow-up question. Although I have been able to get our
RSS feeds to work in staging (http://catalogs.ohsu.edu:2082/feeds/),
really long RSS addresses (including the BBC URL in the feeds_example.html
page, of
http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsplayer_world_edition/sci-tech/rss.xml) do
not show up. I suspect this is because the total line of code, as shown
below, is wrapping to more than one line. Has anyone else encountered
this? If so, does anyone know how to fix it? I have backspaced/rewritten
this line of code a number of times and it still does not show up.
<div class="rssfeed">
<!--{RSS:
http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsplayer_world_edition/sci-tech/rss.xml:
5:1:1:1}-->
</div>
I have not encountered this, and I can use the BBC code above and it works
(unwrapped, of course), which leads me to guess that whatever you're using
to edit the page is wrapping the line. To confirm this I'd try Corey's
suggestions to edit the page using something that won't wrap the code.
