We are having the same problem too. Please share what you do about it in the list.
Thanks.

Subject: How do you handle the 256 number limit on numeric codes?
I was wondering how large site handle the Innopac's limitation of 256 entries (0-255) for all numeric codes? What do you do it you have more then 256 discreet patron types, or unit/department/affiliation entries in your institution's personnel/student/whatever database? We have run into this before, and it has caused some frustration for us in routine data conversion, and I would love to know what others do about it.
Thanks!
