XP and Millennium - keystore, java.policy

Greetings, all.  One of our techs asked me to query the list about
Millennium and XP.  On my recommendation, she has searched the list archives
and has not found anything that specifically addresses her problems.  

Following the advice given by Lynnette Jack and Colin Rennie, quoted below,
apparently does not work with XP:

"I was trawling the archives and found a mail written by Lynnette Jack on 18
July 
2000 who actually copied files from a Windows NT pc to a Win2000.  Files
were..
    c:\winnt\Profiles\user\.java.policy 
    c:\winnt\Profiles\user\.keystore "

Our tech reports that she tried this and she confirms that it works with
Win2000 if she installs keystore and java.policy before installing
Millennium, but that she cannot make keystore and java.policy work with XP.


Any ideas?
