Here's a possible solution I got from the EZProxy people. I'd be
interested if anyone can make it work:

If you are not running in "active directory integrated" mode, then you
can
do this by:
1. Adding the non-wildcard entry
2. Stopping the DNS server on the primary nameserver.
3. Going into C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DNS and opening the file for your zone
with a text edit.
4. Changing the serial number at the top of this file
5. Locating the non-wildcard entry, duplicating it, and adding *. to the
front of the duplicate
6. Restarting the DNS service
For active directory integrated service, I do not know of any way to
make
the entry directly, but it can be done indirectly but delegating control
of the name to another non-active directory DNS server and making the
entries there, both wildcard and non-wildcard.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Body: David,
If using DNS in an Active Directory Integrated mode, you will encounter
what
was mentioned below. Manual editing seems to have no effect. You
*should*
be able to get around this by selecting your main DNS server, converting
the
DNS environment from Active Directory Integrated to Primary Standard (or
Standard Primary). This will copy the DNS database out of AD and into
the
appropriate text file. Edit this file, then revert the DNS environment
back
to AD Integrated.

yes but AOL users still need to use a separate Web browser. The only
questions I get now are problems with PIN nos.
