We changed a few things in the records after they were loaded using MilCat
global update.  I like the fact that patrons can get directly to preview
without having an account or logging in.  I think that the preview time is
actually sufficient for most of the types of books that we have and the
use that they get.  The validation issues are something you need to work
out with netLibrary-- that was the part that took us the longest to get
working correctly, but we're happy with the results.
