- Subject: "Going Live" with TNS
I have a question for those of you who are running Innovative's Telephone
Notification System. We recently attempted to activate our TNS by running
through the process described in the TNS manual and FAQ (we were going to
run a small sampling of holds for staff to make sure the system was working
correctly before downloading ALL our holds), and the process seemed to stall
when we wanted to download the holds information to the TNS from
INNOPAC--TNS just wouldn't recognize that any holds were ready to be called,
when in fact there were 6. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Is there
some kind of "activation" of the TNS within INNOPAC or the TNS itself that
we may have missed and that the manual & FAQ don't mention? Or is it more
likely a communication issue between TNS & INNOPAC through our network? All
help would be much appreciated. If replying please, copy me at my e-mail
address if you're also replying to the list.
Thanks in advance,
William Gray
