Hi Elizabeth,

I had the same response when Steve told about the workaround. 

Fortunately, you only have to maximize once, at the initial search window,
and all subsequent windows will come up maximized.

I also mean no offense to whoever may be beta testing GUICAT - I know
institutions use the software differently and on different machines, but I
agree it's very difficult after all the problems we found in the version
that came with Update C, to believe that anyone actually used all the
features of the software to catalog more than one or two records (so many
of the problems are intermittent). These glitches have cost us hours of
extra work trouble-shooting, documenting, checking csdirect, submitting
calls to III, and informing staff of workarounds.

Is quality control for new releases an issue the user group has ever
addressed or discussed? Perhaps it's time.
