Larry,
It was I who phoned you. It looks like there may be other libraries
experiencing the same problem, so I'll post a response to the list.
We recently had to reinistall OCLC Passport software on a PC in our
cataloging work group. Afterwards, we noticed that the host message we used
to get from Innopac following export and overlay of a bib record no longer
contained detailed information. The Innovative help desk staff suggested we
check the OCLC session settings, especially the "delay" time. Once we
increased the delay from zero to twenty, the problem was fixed. Here's how:
With an OCLC session open, go to the session menu and select settings. Click
on the export/transfer tab. Highlight the export destination you usually
use, then click edit. Make sure the settings are: timeout=90 retries=0
delay=20.
This should fix the problem.
Sincerely,
Judy Humphreys
