- Subject: ALCTS Heads of Cataloging Discussion Group
Come join use for the ALCTS CCS Heads of Cataloging Discussion Group's
meeting at Midwinter. It is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 17 at 9:30-11:00
a.m. at the Four Points Hotel in the Santa Fe Room. (Please verify
location in the Conference Program.) The main topic of discussion will be
cataloging eBooks. Lynn Connaway from netLibrary will introduce the
topic. Issues to be discussed include: should we catalog eBooks, how
does the cataloging differ from cataloging a books in another format, and
management and workflow issues to be addressed in cataloging eBooks.
As usual there will be time for announcing open positions.
