Webcat AOL validation problem & Release 2000?

I have received a couple of patron questions about the following error
message they are getting when trying to view their patron record via the
webcat:  "Your validation has expired to reestablish it.."  and the rest
of the message does not display.  One patron today mentioned he was
using AOL 4.0.  I realize there are problems with AOL, however he said
it had been working fine previously and only today was it causing a
problem.  We have recently installed Release 2000 and his last attempt
to check his record appears to have been prior to Release 2000.  So I
asked today's patron to connect via Internet Explorer and he reported no
problems.  Thus it appears to be a AOL 4.0 problem and now the question
is this related to Release 2000?
