This is a standard feature in Automatic Request Processing. See Rel.12
User Manual record #3571. You cannot set the number of days yourself but
have to ask Innovative to set this up for you.

Patrons receive a hold cancellation notice which you can set up using the
following Circ System option:
72 > Hold Cancel Notice: Not wanted after date past: Text #
This is the same notice that a patron receives when a hold placed by staff
with a Not Wanted After Date expires, so you may want to use suitable
wording.
