One of our New Year's resolutions is to restrict the amount of patron
information viewable by library student workers at the Circulation Desk.
This is because of confidentiality concerns. In the Release 2000
text-based Circulation module (not Millennium) is it possible to
1. Password (or eliminate) the D>Display Holds on a Title menu option.
This option allows student workers to see who has a particular book
checked out, and pass that information along.
2. Password the H>Display Held Items or F>Display Fines menu option in
the V>View Patron Record option. I was able to password the C>Display
Checked Out Items menu option in Circulation Systems Options, but didn't
see anything about the other two.
